Baby Hidie Coming Soon...

We spend a weekend in Idaho with our friends Jeni and Nigel to do this fun Maternity/Family shoot and we got some BEAUTIFUL images that I am so excited to share. Jeni and I were mission companions a couple of times during our service in Mexico. This sweet couple is coming up on three years of marriage and is so excited to be welcoming a baby boy into their family at the beginning of next year. They are going to be amazing parents and we had so much fun doing this shoot for them to announce this exciting news with their friends and family!

Megan's Maternity Session Hidden Valley Park

Megan decided to go the exciting route and her and her husband are waiting to find out the gender of their little baby until it’s born. It’s coming up soon and I can’t wait to hear from them if it’s a baby girl or boy! She was a trooper and braved the snow and we did a quick session over at Hidden Valley Park in Sandy. We got lucky and the sun was out so she could feel some heat and we threw snow around, laughed, and captured some beautiful images of her big belly before the baby comes. Comment your guess down below if you think it’ll be a boy or girl!

Morrill Family Tibble Fork

Sometimes I get asked to do extended family pictures and these are some of my favorites photoshoots. The Morrill Family had the largest group I’ve photographed yet, about 40 people!

I love seeing cousins play and aunts hold their newborn niece or nephew they may not have met yet. It’s so cool to see the whole family come together and interact and some really sacrifice their time and energy to get some pictures for their mom because they love her. It is definitely a lot of work to coordinate everyone’s schedules to get together and take the big group photo. It is SO worth it though!!

I promise, your mom is so thankful to have that photo of her posterity. Of course, it will change in a few years with children and grandchildren getting married and bringing more children into the world and that’s why they want to get together every few years and do it again. I love being a part of recording this history. Thank you Morrill Family for giving me that opportunity. Here are a whole bunch of my favorite pictures from their session.
